Mykolaiv City Day

On 9 September, Mykolaiv celebrated its City Day. Due to the constant shelling, official celebrations were cancelled, but the city still received an incredibly important gift – the opening of the office of the Danish company Bright Bird. This is the first step in Denmark’s systematic assistance in restoring various facilities in Mykolaiv destroyed by Russia, including residential buildings, economic, social and transport infrastructure.

Bright Bird is one of the largest risk management agencies in Europe, providing customised medical and healthcare solutions, consulting and analytics across a range of business sectors. Their office is a positive signal to the entire international community that Mykolaiv region can be trusted.

The opening was attended by a delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Ukraine, headed by Ambassador Ole Egberg Mikkelsen.

During the event, we had several important meetings with both the city authorities and the Danish side. It is too early to announce, but later this week we will share some good, bright news.

We are grateful to our Danish partners for their active role in rebuilding Ukraine. After the victory, Mykolaiv will definitely be one of the best and most developed cities.
