A constructive meeting was held with Lee Young-Loo, Chairman of the Korea Ukraine New Building Association, to discuss several key areas of cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea. One of the main issues was the upcoming Prefab Technology Forum in Ulsan, which will be a key event to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the prefabricated construction industry.
The parties also discussed the participation of joint delegations in the Ukrainian Week in Washington, which will be attended by US congressmen, senators, representatives of public and religious organisations and distinguished guests from many countries. A mechanism for establishing partnerships between cities and regions of both countries for further cooperation was identified. Particular attention was paid to the partnership between universities in the Republic of Korea and Ukraine, including opportunities for student exchange and joint research projects.
The meeting identified concrete steps for further cooperation and development of the initiatives discussed.
