Ukrainian Week in Washington as an element of unity

Ukraine Week was held in the United States, creating a platform for discussion among public figures, entrepreneurs, lawmakers, government officials and clergy. The purpose of such meetings is to build a strong economic, political and humanitarian partnership from a strategic perspective. This is the second time that the Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance has been a partner of this event.

“The result of our team’s many years of work to build a partnership between Ukraine and the United States is the Ukrainian Week in Washington, which is being held for the second time. It is a powerful platform for advocacy, protection and representation of Ukraine’s interests,” said Veniamin Ungurian, member of the Alliance’s Board of Directors.

The program was very intense: over 150 meetings at various levels took place in seven days: lively discussions, forums, roundtables and prayer breakfasts, one of which was attended by President Biden. Each event was valuable in its own way, as support for Ukraine in American society is set to grow even stronger

“Our goal is not to let people forget about Ukraine, to defend our position and attract as much help as possible for the country. The Ukrainian Week hosts events of various formats that promote further cooperation between our countries in the humanitarian, business and political spheres,” added Veniamin.

The Ukrainian Week also featured the Military Chaplaincy Forum, an investment forum and 2 large panels: humanitarian and economic, which we will describe in more detail in the following posts.
