A Ukrainian prayer breakfast was held in Washington, DC, bringing together leaders and public figures from Ukraine, the United States and Israel. This event has become an important symbol of interfaith unity and spiritual unity, especially in such a difficult time for our country.
The tradition of prayer breakfasts, launched more than 70 years ago, has always been a platform for informal communication and collective prayer. This time, the event took on a special significance as it was centred on prayer for Ukraine’s victory. Leaders of different faiths, political camps and ideological positions came together to express their support and belief in a better future for our country.
‘The Prayer Breakfast has always been a symbol of interfaith unity that transcends political differences. The historical challenges Ukraine has faced only confirm that true strength is in unity. This is the only way we will be able to withstand any threats and confidently build our future. I hope that soon we will meet again at the prayer breakfast – this time in a peaceful, rebuilt Ukraine, where harmony, mutual respect and prosperity will prevail,’ said Yuriy Maslov, Head of Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance.
