The Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance supports the implementation of DREAM

DREAM is a digital ecosystem for accountable recovery management. Its development will increase the transparency of the state, which is a key aspect for ensuring transparent and convenient management of reconstruction projects.

We joined the experience exchange session “Restoring Ukraine: Seoul’s Experience and Digital Solutions that Worked”, organised by the Institute for Analysis and Advocacy in cooperation with DREAM. The developers shared their achievements, and representatives of South Korea spoke about the implementation of the Clean Construction System and its benefits.

By implementing the Clean Construction System in 2012, South Korea reduced the risk of corruption, simplified the process of obtaining information, and reduced paperwork costs.

The Government of Ukraine is actively studying the experience of other countries that have undergone post-war reconstruction. An excellent example of this is South Korea, which in less than 60 years has transformed from a devastated country into one of the most developed countries in the world. This journey was accompanied by a significant construction programme that has determined the country’s successful economic and social development.
