The fifth Prayer Breakfast was held in Odesa.

The event brought together representatives of various spheres of society to pray together for peace and the future of Ukraine. The event was attended by volunteers, chaplains, Odesa Oblast officials, military commanders, clergy, MPs and international guests from Moldova and the United States. Among them was Kurt Volker, former US Special Representative for Ukraine. His visit was a symbol of the democratic world’s support for Ukraine.

“A week ago, for the fifth time since 2018, we held the annual Prayer Breakfast of Odesa Region. And once again, this event proves that faith in God, prayer and spiritual values are what can really unite and stitch our people together in times of anxiety and danger. The examples of the most successful countries in the world confirm this idea,” said Veniamin Unguryan, member of the Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance.

During the event, representatives of the government, business and military chaplains jointly read out excerpts of prayers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, victory and peace. A charity fundraiser was held to support the Armed Forces and help children in need. This once again emphasised that together we can overcome any difficulties.

Prayer breakfasts have become an important platform for attracting international assistance to Ukraine and cooperation with European countries and the United States. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, these events have become even more important for our country.
