The Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance has completed a productive meeting with Ambassador Lee Young-lu of South Korea, where we discussed further cooperation. The partnership with Korea is of strategic importance, as it opens the way for the implementation of various projects to restore Ukraine.
We paid special attention to humanitarian aid and financial support. This is reinforced by the fact that South Korea plans to provide Ukraine with a significant amount of money this year to address urgent problems. This will include long-term loans through the Fund for Economic Cooperation and Development.
“We believe that joint projects with South Korea will become effective tools for rebooting our country and will contribute to its further development,” said Yuriy Maslov, Chairman of the Alliance.
We also discussed joint initiatives in higher education and the prospects for mirror partnerships. We plan to work actively together in the near future and look forward to the visit of our friends from South Korea. Furthermore, we expect this cooperation to have a significant positive impact on our country and our communities.
This only strengthens our belief in the power of international cooperation and exchange of experience. We are grateful to all our partners for their fruitful cooperation and faith in our common mission of rebuilding Ukraine.
