The Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance took part in an international conference organised by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. The purpose of the event was to facilitate interaction between state authorities, local governments, business, civil society, academia and international partners to integrate responsible business standards into Ukraine’s recovery program.
The responsible recovery of Ukraine is a common goal for all stakeholders in Ukrainian society, as it is only through responsibility that goals can be set, obstacles overcome and significant success achieved. And Ukraine’s recovery must take place despite the fact that the war is still ongoing.
The conference also included dialogues on the role of business practices in rebuilding the country, strengthening the national contact point, integrating global standards, the lack of local expertise, green private sector development, opportunities to enter international markets, and the value of human life.
