On 6 December, the All-Ukrainian Forum of Conservative Politics ‘Security. Values. Welfare’. The purpose of the forum was to discuss the foundations of national security, welfare and sustainable development through the prism of conservative values, which aim to strengthen the resilience of Ukrainian society in times of war.
‘Our task is a unifying strategy for all sectors of civil society. Building a network of conservative influence that will cover all levels of public life will help strengthen Ukraine in the face of external and internal challenges,’ said Pavlo Unguryan, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance, in his speech.
The participants of the event, including military officers, chaplains, spiritual leaders, journalists, business and local government representatives, jointly developed strategies for the conservative transformation of Ukraine. The forum raised fundamental questions about faith, the role of family and communities in national revival. Formats of cross-sectoral cooperation were also discussed, including the formation of inter-factional parliamentary groups, Christian military movements, and educational programmes based on traditional values.
‘The Forum demonstrates that the creation of new parties or organisations is not enough to introduce a genuine conservative culture in Ukraine. The basis for success should be the formation of a network of conservative influence at all levels of public life. This approach allows not only to protect traditional values but also to adapt them to modern challenges. The presence of representatives of the leading conservative organisations in the United States gives us confidence that we are on the right track, receiving strong support and experience from partners who have been working in this direction for decades,’ said Yuriy Starchevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Alliance.
The All-Ukrainian Forum of Conservative Politics has become a landmark event for Ukraine, uniting the efforts of public and political figures for a common vision of the future. Its results give grounds to believe that a new platform for development is being formed in Ukraine, which is harmoniously integrated into the global conservative movement.
